About the Pub
The Queens Head is a traditional pub with striking tiles and beamed external appearance. It holds a prominent position on the main road into Gospot on a corner plot so is highly visible. The pub has a large L shaped bar and is capable of hosting live music and events inside, the large TV wall for the sports viewing and pool table create a games area which is well used. The USP of this business is the large, enclosed garden to the rear of the property which has a play area, has space for a bouncy castle and brick built BBQ. There is also sports viewing available in the garden. The pub is well decorated throughout as it was refurbished in 2020 and has been maintained well. The adequately sized kitchen means that the pub can offer a small menu to increase dwell time and has run themed food events in the past.
Regional Manager's Thoughts
The Queens Head represents a fantastic opportunity for an experienced wet led, operator to run a community pub. The pub has all amenities in place to be able to drive trade and create a wonderful community hub, where families can socialise and spend time with their friends. The pub should be the hub of the local community. Live music has been well attended as are the family fun days in the summer months in the garden, so there is local footfall waiting to visit.
