The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Administrator to join the ‘Bolton Family’ and be part of our administration team supporting Adults Social Care. The position offers a varied and engaging workload.

The role is vital in ensuring the smooth running of services. You will work closely with Managers, Health Professionals and Social Workers and link with other members of the administrative team. Working with partner agencies to create an environment where multi-agency practice is strong. You will join a committed team who are proud of the service they deliver to achieve their potential.

Duties include handling queries from professionals and the public, signposting to relevant teams, and supporting the Admin Team Leader or Administration Manager with administrative task management.

You will coordinate the distribution of mail and manage ordering, receiving, sorting, and delivery of goods and services. You will also contribute to the organisation of activities, resources, and events, including travel arrangements and meeting venues.

Financial duties include receipting, recording, monitoring, and processing payments in accordance with policies and procedures.

A key aspect of the role is arranging and attending multi-agency meetings and events, where accurate and efficient minute-taking is essential. Additionally, you will support and maintain the use of information systems to ensure service continuity.


About You

Applicants must be able to arrange and take comprehensive minutes at conferences or multi-agency meetings.

You should have experience working in an administrative capacity or office environment and demonstrate strong communication skills to present information clearly both verbally and in writing.

The ability to work independently as well as part of a team is essential, along with effective organisational skills to plan, develop and prioritise tasks.

Excellent literacy skills are required to accurately collate and process information using software packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

You must be able to produce well-presented documents and demonstrate the ability to handle cash, record and monitor payments in line with financial procedures.
