*Job Overview*We are seeking a skilled and dedicated MOTOR MECHANIC to join our team in a small friendly garage. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of vehicles. This role requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.*Duties** Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles and machinery to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.* Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections.* Diagnose mechanical problems using diagnostic tools and equipment.* Repair or replace faulty components, including engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed.* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.* Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery.*Experience** Previous experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is ESSENTIAL.* Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment is preferred.* Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, brakes, electrical systems, and transmissions.* Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.* A relevant qualification in automotive technology or mechanical engineering is advantageous but not mandatory.
