Female Mental Health Support Worker
Join iBC Healthcare to support vulnerable adults with complex needs in a supported living service.
Base Pay
£12.40 per hour (full‑time, 42 hours per week, day shifts). Salary depends on experience.
Responsibilities
* Provide person‑centred support to adults with profound disability and mental health conditions.
* Administer medication, prepare meals, maintain cleaning, manage paperwork.
* Offer emotional and practical support; facilitate access to community facilities and groups.
* Build relationships to promote independence, improve quality of life, and encourage learning new skills or hobbies.
Qualifications
* Experience in care industry, supported living, or equivalent.
* Previous experience supporting people with mental health conditions, complex care needs and challenging behaviours.
* Full UK manual driving licence preferred.
* Strong organisational, time‑management and flexibility skills.
* IT literate; positive ‘can do’ attitude and compassionate, caring personality.
* Excellent communication skills; able to manage challenging behaviour and conflict.
* Works well as part of a team and individually.
