Overview
Temporary Assistant Site Manager - Residential Development (Mid Devon) – Duration: 6-8 weeks; Start Date: Immediate / ASAP; Company: Regional Residential House Builder
Responsibilities
* Support the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of the site.
* Supervise trades and subcontractors to ensure work is completed on time, safely, and to the required quality standards.
* Monitor health & safety compliance, carrying out site inductions and inspections.
* Assist with scheduling, materials management, and maintaining progress reports.
* Liaise with clients, suppliers, and the wider project team as required.
Requirements
* Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager (residential housing background preferred).
* Strong knowledge of construction processes and health & safety standards.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Ability to manage subcontractors and maintain high standards of quality.
* Valid CSCS card required; SMSTS/SSSTS and First Aid desirable.
