Pre-Sales Technical Consultant responsibilities:
* Identify and develop transformation opportunities across hardware, software, and cloud
* Deliver solution proposals around technologies like VMware, Dell, and Microsoft
* Act as a subject matter expert in EUC, infrastructure, and hybrid-cloud platforms
* Drive adoption of complementary technologies across sales and solution offerings
* Maintain deep awareness of compute, virtualisation, and cloud market trends
* Build trusted relationships with customers, vendors, and internal sales teams
* Utilise vendor partnerships to maximise commercial impact and client outcomes
* Contribute to enablement events, internal training, and go-to-market strategy
Pre-Sales Technical Consultant skills, traits, and experience:
* 5+ years in IT solution sales or consulting, ideally with hybrid/cloud transformation focus
* Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to simplify complex tech value
* Strong technical understanding of storage, compute, virtualisation, and cloud
* Experience positioning managed services alongside core solution offerings
* Familiarity with software licensing and ecosystem integrations
* Self-motivated, commercially aware, and goal-driven
* Resilient, collaborative, and committed to delivering innovation
* Comfortable presenting and influencing across multiple stakeholder levels
