Maintenance Engineer - Established Ambient Food Processor - Daventry
Salary: £49,000 + Benefits
Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:00-18:30
An established and respected ambient food manufacturer in Daventry is looking to add a Maintenance Engineer to its engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable business, working regular weekday hours with no nights or shifts.
The Role
* As part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for:
* Carrying out planned maintenance (PMs) on a wide range of factory machinery
* Responding to breakdowns and providing effective, timely repairs
* Electrical and/or mechanical fault finding
* Delivering minor improvement and optimisation projects
* Supporting production to ensure equipment uptime and reliability
* Maintaining safe working practices and accurate maintenance records
About You
* We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a relevant engineering qualification (mechanical or electrical)
* Has experience in a food, FMCG, or similar fast-paced manufacturing environment
* Is confident fault finding and working across a variety of processing and packing equipment
* Enjoys working as part of a supportive team
* Is proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious
