Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef Manager to oversee our kitchen operations and lead our culinary team. Responsibilities
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
* Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure high-quality meals are consistently produced.
* Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
* Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service standards.
* Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and manage food waste effectively.
* Maintain records of food production and costs to assist in financial planning.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a kitchen environment, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills with extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
* Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively while promoting teamwork and collaboration.
