Based just off the A40, Bekstone is a leading independent concrete products manufacturer. With an increasing demand for our products, a vacancy now exists for a full-time Senior Sales Administrator. The post holder will become part of a small and busy sales function.
The individual we are looking for will have strong administrative experience, be competent with Sage, be well organised, a people person, competent with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and will have excellent written and communication skills.
You must be able to work under pressure and be good at organising and encouraging your team.
Key responsibilities will include
· Speaking to customers, answering their questions, by telephone/email
· Entering customer orders onto Sage
· Liaising with the external sales force
· Scheduling and amending customer orders on Sage
· Raising invoices and reporting daily sales
· Processing monthly/annual stock takes
· Recording daily production information
· Checking haulier's invoices to quoted rates
· Allocation of work to the team
· Provide holiday cover for the office
· Improving the efficiency of the office function
This will be a busy, varied, and challenging role, and there are opportunities for the right individual to take on more responsibility.
Hours: 08:00-17:00, Monday to Friday
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£37,500.00 per year
