About The Role
As a Mixed Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality compliance and advisory services across a broad client portfolio. The role spans both corporate and personal tax, and includes team management, strategic planning, and business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage annual tax return compliance for companies, individuals, and partnerships
Deliver tax planning services including:
Remuneration planning
Corporate tax strategy
Succession planning
Capital Gains Tax advice
Benefits in kind
Collaborate across teams to provide well-rounded advice that may include VAT, international taxes, LBTT, and Stamp Duties
Oversee the delivery of work across the Business Advisory and Private Client teams, supporting compliance for a portfolio of ~1,800 clients
Lead onboarding and proposal processes for new clients
Monitor and mentor junior team members, ensuring delivery standards and progression
Produce technical content (blogs, presentations) aligned with your area of expertise
Identify opportunities to enhance client service across all touchpoints
About You
Relevant professional qualification (e.g. CA, ATT, CTA)
Strong experience in both corporate and personal tax compliance and advisory
Previous experience managing a team within a professional services or accountancy firm
Ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple client demands
Experience handling a client portfolio and maintaining strong client relationships
Confident using tax software (e.g. Alphatax, CCH)
Proactive, clear communicator with a commercial mindset
