Quality and dust monitoring. Update all the associated documentation and keep everything on track Complete the Legionella testing as per the risk assessments Be trained as an auditor and assist with all audits, quality, health, and safety, environmental and audits in general Site inspections/Audits, implement and drive corrective actions Create procedures, work instructions, safe systems of work etc. Assist in training any new processes out Assist in maintaining our T100 SHEQ management system Monitor trends and provide the data to enable us to act when required Assist in the investigation of accidents and incidents Minute taking for the SHEQ meetings and follow up with the relevant people on any actions that arise. Take ownership of the calibration system. Arrange for all calibration to take place, communicate with the contractors, and arrange with the sites Be involved with all environmental agency audits. Assist with preventative actions and help complete any actions that are raised Assist and monitor document control throughout all departments, ensure compliance, and registers are maintained The training you will be getting Once completed the apprentice will recieve a level 3 qualification in Safety, Health and Environment Technician IOSH will be offered during employement (based on performance) Apprenticeship training will be held at 1 of URM's sites. Most training will be virtual (online), held once a month, with in person reviews from the apprenticeship provider every 3 months In-house reviews will be compelted by the Learning and Development Coordinator every 3 months, so you will always have support throughout your apprenticeship Upon completion learners will be able to join the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) at TechIOSH level What to expect at the end of your apprenticeship We would expect that the successful candidate, completes their apprenticeship and would remain within the business within the complaince department. As we are a growing business, there would not be a specific role in mind, it will be dependant on what area's the apprenitce has enjoyed the most throughout their apprenitceship and business need at the time of completion.
