Career Opportunity: Engineering Delivery Manager
This is a fantastic career opportunity for someone with engineering project management experience to join a highly collaborative and supportive team in our Capital Maintenance Projects and deliver modern and innovative solutions to our operational sites.
Responsibilities:
* Managing the delivery of a large portfolio of capital projects, providing MEICA and Civil engineering construction solutions for wastewater, water production, waste, and water network functions, both above and below ground.
* Managing procurement processes, framework suppliers, and subcontractor supply chains involved in site-based construction activities.
* Overseeing resource management and supporting the training and development of Project Engineers.
* Providing estimates, programming, and planning support.
* Ensuring projects meet client specifications, health and safety standards, and legislative requirements.
* Managing client site requirements to minimize operational impact.
Location & Hours:
The role is based in Banbury/Oxford with travel across the area. It requires being office-based 5 days a week, with hours of 36 per week, Monday to Friday. A driving license is required as a car allowance is provided.
Candidate Requirements:
* Experience in a commercial and technical role, preferably with a degree/HND in engineering or business administration.
* Proven project management experience in an engineering environment, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and ICA systems.
* Experience managing procurement processes and supply chains.
* Capability in resource management and staff development.
* Compliance with legislative, CDM, health & safety, environmental, and HR standards.
Benefits:
* Salary up to £66,000 per annum, depending on experience.
* 26 days annual leave, increasing to 30 with service, plus bank holidays.
* Car allowance of £4,500 per year.
