PCB / Electronic Assembly Technician
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Job Summary
We are seeking a PCB / Electronic Assembly Technician to assemble Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and electronic box builds for aerospace products. This role involves hands-on assembly, soldering, testing, and operating PCB manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) and electronic box builds
Perform SMT and/or PTH soldering, including rework and touch-up
Carry out component bonding, component assembly, and hardware assembly
Operate PCB production equipment such as wave solderers, pinning machines, CS-400, and solder fountains
Perform conformal coating processes
Complete module cleaning, potting, and testing
Assemble small mechanical components and subassemblies (springs, gears, etc.)
Assemble and test electrical and electro-mechanical products
Use bench-top equipment, test equipment, hand tools, and computers
Participate in team meetings to determine work priorities
Support process improvements and training activities as required
Requirements
Experience with PCB assembly and soldering (SMT and/or PTH)
Ability to perform PCB rework and touch-up
Comfortable working with mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies
Willingness to learn new equipment and processes
