Responsibilities:
* Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with speech and language disorders.
* Provide direct speech and language therapy to assigned students, ensuring that interventions are tailored to their unique needs.
* Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to facilitate effective communication strategies in the classroom.
* Monitor student progress and adjust therapy techniques as required, maintaining accurate documentation of services provided.
* Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to a supportive educational environment.
Qualifications:
* Valid Rhode Island Speech Language Pathologist License.
* CCC-SLP certification preferred.
* Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in a school setting.
* Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy practices.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
