Pay: £20.51 per hour – Weekly or Monthly paid + Mileage Reimbursement and Hotel costs.
Location: Covering four locations: Telford, Barnsley, Ellesmere Port (Liverpool), & Washington (Newcastle).
Department: Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ)
Reports To: HSEQ Manager
Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract (6 months) with potential for permanent employment after the rollout.
Job Summary: The HSEQ Advisor supports the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of health, safety, environmental, and quality practices. Responsibilities include compliance audits, training, incident investigations, and data analysis. The role involves working in various environments and occasional travel, with monthly visits to the head office covered by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in monitoring workplace health issues and compliance with health regulations.
* Support health and wellness programs for employees.
* Participate in risk assessments to mitigate health risks.
Safety:
* Conduct safety inspections and audits.
* Investigate accidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actions.
* Develop and enforce safety policies.
Environment:
* Ensure compliance with environmental laws.
* Support sustainability initiatives.
* Oversee waste disposal and recycling.
Quality:
* Monitor processes to meet quality standards.
* Assist with ISO standards compliance.
* Generate HSEQ reports and documentation.
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years experience in an HSEQ role or related field.
* Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) preferred.
* Full clean UK Driving License required.
