Hours: Monday to Friday, full:time
Pay: GBP95 to GBP110 per day
Contract: 8:30 : 3:30 with 30 minutes dinner Full:time, long:term : full academic year
Reeson Education is working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in the SK7 area of Stockport to recruit a dedicated HLTA to support pupils with additional needs from EYFS and KS1. This HLTA role is to start in September 2025 and will continue full:time for the entire school year.
The school is looking for a confident, nurturing and experienced HLTA who can lead teaching and learning sessions for pupils with SEND. You will be working in small groups, delivering planned interventions and supporting children with a variety of needs including communication difficulties, sensory needs, autism and global developmental delay.

Key Responsibilities Of The HLTA
* Deliver small:group teaching sessions as a skilled HLTA
* Support and scaffold learning for EYFS and KS1 pupils with SEND
* Implement structured interventions as a confident HLTA
* Track and record pupil progress and adapt activities accordingly
* Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers as a team:focused HLTA
* Use visual, sensory and play:based approaches where appropriate
* Maintain a safe, calm and supportive space for learners as a HLTA
* Model positive behaviour and routines for children with a range of needs
* Communicate effectively with staff and parents in your role as a HLTA
* Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and SEND support plans as a trusted HLTA
This HLTA Role Is Ideal For Someone Who
* Holds HLTA status or has equivalent experience leading learning
* Has previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting
* Is confident working across EYFS and KS1 age groups
* Is looking for a full:time HLTA role from September in the SK7 area
* Is nurturing, reliable, and enthusiastic about making a difference
