About Our Client

Job Description
Core Accounting & Reporting:
3. Support the month-end process with preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
4. Assist with production and analysis of monthly management accounts, including site performance reporting.
5. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, working closely with site and central teams.
Operational Finance & Business Partnering:
6. Analyse cost drivers and highlight areas of variance, wastage, or inefficiency.
7. Work closely with operations, supply chain, and procurement to support continuous improvement initiatives.
8. Help identify opportunities to reduce cost, improve process, and increase profitability across departments.
Projects & Continuous Improvement:
9. Collaborate with the Continuous Improvement team on finance-related aspects of operational change projects.
10. Provide insight and data to support business cases for investment or efficiency.
11. Challenge existing processes and support the implementation of improved controls and reporting tools.
Additional Responsibilities:
12. Assist with internal and external audit requirements.
13. Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial procedures.
14. Support ad hoc analysis and reporting for senior stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Analyst should have:
15. A recognised qualification or part-qualification in accounting (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
16. Previous experience in a similar accounting role, ideally within the Manufacturing
17. Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines effectively.
18. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
19. Sound knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
20. An analytical mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
