Role: SEN Teacher Location: Milton Keynes Part time Salary: £29,344 - £44,919 Start Date: September 2025 We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join our team at a school located in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for students with diverse abilities. As an SEN Teacher, you will collaborate with educators, support staff, and parents to provide personalised and effective learning experiences tailored to students with special educational needs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) based on each student's unique needs, ensuring goals are measurable and achievable Deliver lessons using a variety of strategies to support a range of learning styles and abilities Collaborate with teaching assistants, support staff, and external professionals to maintain a supportive classroom environment Assess and monitor student progress regularly, adapting instruction to meet evolving needs Maintain open and consistent communication with parents/carers regarding progress and ongoing support strategies Foster an inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes empathy, respect, and positive peer interactions Stay current with best practices in SEN education by attending relevant training, workshops, and conferences Apply effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a respectful and safe learning environment, including for students with behavioural challenges Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or a related field (Master’s preferred) Recognised teaching certification in Special Education Proven experience supporting students with special educational needs In-depth understanding of a range of learning disabilities and developmental needs Strong communication, collaboration, and organisational skills If you would like to know more, please contact Supply Desk on and apply below.
