Overview
As an RAC Mobile Mechanic in the Service, Maintenance and Repair division, you'll bring expert vehicle maintenance and diagnostic skills directly to our customers, wherever they are. You'll deliver first-class service without the constraints of a traditional garage.
Responsibilities
* You're someone who gets people. Interact with customers, represent the RAC with pride on driveways and other locations, and convey our values through every fix and conversation.
* Mixing things up: servicing, diagnostics, repairs, checks; manage stock, reporting, and maintain customer conversations.
* Think on your feet: trusted to make the right call for each customer; adapt to different fixes and faces daily.
Qualifications
* Level 2 light vehicle maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 2 years\' hands-on experience as a vehicle technician with a range of light vehicles
* Full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
Role details
* Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
* Hours: 40 hours per week; core hours 8:30 am – 5:00 pm; 1 in 4 Saturdays
* Salary: £40,170 base with on-target earnings up to £52,000; overtime options to increase base to £44,385 plus overtime/bonuses
* Work arrangement: Mobile role; RAC van, fuel card, uniform, tools and diagnostic kit provided
