Fulbridge Social Care is recruiting both experienced and Trainee Youth Workers to join our casual team. These roles involve working in children’s residential homes and Independent Living settings. We seek flexible, reliable, and interactive individuals interested in a specialist environment where full training and qualifications are provided, including Team Teach, Child Protection, Working with Self Harm, and the Diploma 3 for Children and Young People.
The position involves providing security, guidance, interaction, and support to young people with challenging behavior and complex needs, aiming to create an environment that supports their intellectual, spiritual, social, and emotional development.
You will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who are in the care system for various reasons, with diverse disorders, behaviors, and needs. Candidates should have confidence, patience, and skills to work successfully with these young people and positively impact their lives.
Responsibilities include supporting young people throughout the day with tasks such as meal preparation, cleaning, education, and shopping. You will also interact with professionals like Social Workers, Probation Officers, and Police Officers, supporting the young people in environments such as classrooms, courts, and police stations.
A valid driving license is essential, as you will need to drive the unit car and transport young people to destinations like family contacts, schools, and social activities.
Applicants must complete an enhanced DBS check with Fulbridge Social Care and pass an induction assessment before placements are offered.
