HVAC Installation Engineer – Johnson Controls

As an Installation Engineer, you will install split, multi‑split, VRV/VRF, and DX systems at customer sites. You’ll maintain strong client relationships, demonstrating excellent self‑management, communication, and interpersonal skills while delivering high‑quality installations and guidance to meet customer needs.
You will attend various client sites, supporting multiple projects and carrying out installation and commissioning of air‑conditioning units and commercial refrigeration systems. Working away will be required as part of this role.
What You Will Do
* Work as part of the VRF Installation Team, delivering projects on time and within budget.
* Adhere to company and legal requirements, including Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
* Prioritise Health & Safety compliance at all times.
* Install HVAC equipment and pipework according to defined processes and timelines.
* Support various projects, including working away when required.
Essential Qualifications
* Proven experience in full HVAC installation (pipework, bracketry, cabling).
* F‑GAS 2079 Cat 1 qualification.
* Experience with major manufacturers (Daikin, Hitachi, Mitsubishi Electric, Airedale).
* Knowledge of DX, Split VRF/VRV systems, AHUs & ventilation plant.
* Experience commissioning HVAC equipment.
* Ability to interpret technical documents (electrical schemes, piping diagrams).
* Full UK driving licence.
* IT skills (recording details in LD‑Control platform via iPad).
* Self‑motivated with a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration or Air Conditioning.
* CSCS Skill Card, IPAF 3A & 3B, SSSTS, PASMA.
