An exciting opportunity to join a unique business in the heart of beautiful countryside with super benefits including:- * 37 hours per week – 8.30am to 4.30pm (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am to 4pm (Friday) with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break * 25 days holidays and 8 bank holidays * 5% pension * Private healthcare * 2 x base salary life insurance Duties for the Mechanical Engineer include:- * Provide mechanical design solutions as instructed by the Senior/Project Engineers. * Input on projects, using sound technical competencies. * Produce engineering designs, specifications and documentation. * Assist in the preparation of operating and maintenance manuals. * Assist sales and marketing in the preparation of quotes and proposals. * Provide offsite engineering support. * Provide customer support. * Provide technical support to the production, logistics and integration departments. * Work within the requirements of company procedures and national/international regulations. Experience needed to be successful:- * Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related/equivalent subject * Sound Mechanical engineering knowledge. * 3D CAD modelling using Solidworks & PDM * Finite Element Analysis using Ansys and/or SolidWorks Simulation. * Structural analysis including hand calculations. * Mechanical assembly techniques and maintenance. * Inspection, testing and certification requirements. * Completing and checking designs and documentation. * Tolerancing, limits and fits.
