Your New Role
Do you have experience in surface modelling, 3D CAD assembly modelling, and AutoCAD? Are you experienced in Aerospace Engineering, integration, and certification documentation?
If so, we may have the job for you. We are recruiting a Design Engineer to join our Design & Technical team at our RFD Beaufort Division based in Ellesmere Port.
The Design Engineer will support the product design of new lifejackets and rafts (single seat and multi-seat) and maintain and enhance existing design data. They will be involved in the ongoing development of new products to expand the product portfolio. Some products will be Aviation certified, so Part 21G/J and Part 145 experience is preferred but not essential. The Design team is responsible for creating everything from the initial concept to the final design of our products. They develop ideas for new products and prototypes, as well as evolving the design details of established ranges.
