Are you a passionate and experienced nurse looking to develop your expertise in orthopaedic care? We are offering a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in Arthroplasty on a 12-month post.
This role will support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care for individuals undergoing joint replacement surgery. Working closely with the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to enhanced recovery pathways, patient education, and support the current CNS.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide expert nursing input into the care of patients undergoing hip and knee arthroplasty
* Support and develop enhanced recovery protocols
* Deliver patient education
* Participate in audit, service development, and quality improvement initiatives
* Act as a resource for ward staff and junior colleagues
About You
We’re looking for a registered nurse with:
* Experience in orthopaedic nursing
* A keen interest in developing specialist knowledge in arthroplasty
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* A commitment to improving patient outcomes and experience
