Key Responsibilities As part of a small, specialist team working across Highland, you will: · To provide a specialist and detailed statutory initial health assessment for all children and young people entering care, underpinned by The Guidance for Health Assessments for Looked After Children (Scotland) 2014. · Work across a continuum of early prevention and intervention through to complex needs. · Contribute to improving health outcomes and reducing inequalities for care experienced children and young people. · Ensure identified health needs are addressed by the right people, at the right time. · Provide specialist advice and guidance to multi-agency partners, families, carers, and children. Requirements · Registered Nurse with current NMC registration. · Experience in child health, safeguarding, and working with vulnerable populations. · Strong communication and partnership-working skills. · Ability to provide specialist clinical advice and support across agencies. · Commitment to improving outcomes for care experienced children and young people. · Full UK driving license.
