The job itself
Applicants wanted to work with a 10-year-old with Autism and additional needs such as chronic lung disease that is well controlled.
This young person is a very lively and energetic child who adores playing football and being out in the community, they are very family orientated and can be very caring and affectionate towards others. This young person also enjoys playing video games and playing with toys such as hot wheels.
This young person can independently perform self-care, and toilet however may need support via prompts to do it at appropriate times. There are also no known challenging behaviours. This young person also requires encouragement and support to develop his skills and social confidence.
The ideal applicant will be a patient, friendly and lively individual with experience of working with SEND children. A driver would also be preferred to ease with transport to the place of work and to go out on outings with the young person
About the role

6. Attending/transporting the individual to social activities and appointments.
7. Encouraging social interaction and inclusion and providing emotional support.

12. Have knowledge of working with or supporting a child with special needs.
