We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant to join this finance team on a 6-month contract. This role will support the Finance Manager in delivering accurate and timely management accounts, with a particular focus on working within Access Dimensions.
Key duties will cover:
* Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
* Process journals, accruals, and prepayments accurately.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
* Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
* Maintain accurate financial records using Access Dimensions.
* Provide analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
* Liaise with internal departments to resolve queries and ensure compliance.
What you'll need to succeed
* Part-qualified accountant (AAT/ACCA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.
* Strong working knowledge of Access Dimensions accounting software.
* Previous experience in management accounts or assistant accountant roles.
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
