Ferring+You
Reporting to the Medical Director, UK & Ireland, the Medical Advisor provides scientific leadership to ensure professional and credible relationships with key opinion leaders and external experts. You will need to ensure a strong medical and scientific presence for the organization through facilitation of educational and research initiatives, supporting medical and scientific requests on products and key areas of therapeutic interest. We expect you to partner closely with other cross-functional colleagues to support a robust medical and cross functional strategy, and to deliver tactics including medical education, scientific exchange, data generation, insight generation and ensuring compliance, governance and ethical practices.
This fixed term opportunity is likely to last for 12 months, commencing in July 2026.
Your day at Ferring
1. Lead and manage head office medical projects (advisory boards, symposia, regional meetings etc.) from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including global R&D, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to support product launches and other initiatives.
3. Ensure that any study proposals are aligned with medical objectives locally, regionally and globally, and local execution carried out in timely and is legally compliant.
4. Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies Compliance.
5. Ensure all activities and materials comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
6. Train and comply with the SOPs indicated in the SOP training matrix for the respective job.
7. Review and Approval of materials in accordance with appropriate regulations in Veeva systems e.g. ABPI, IPHA, EFPIA.

8. A biosciences higher degree (MSc, PhD) or medical related degree (e.g., PharmD, MD) is required.
9. Previous experience (3+ years) in field medical affairs, with a proven track record of engaging with external stakeholders.
10. Strong understanding of the biotech or pharmaceutical industry Desirable Qualifications & Experience.
11. Experience in data collection and analysis, RWE, publications, project management and compliance-related activities is desirable. Required Competencies & Skills.
