Responsibilities
* Provide specialist evidence-based advice to the Health Intelligence Team within the Public Health Directorate.
* Demonstrate a strong recent track record in analytical and problem-solving skills, data manipulation and retrieval using large datasets, and the ability to interpret and communicate complex information.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Gained specialist knowledge and experience of epidemiological, analytical, and/or statistical techniques through a degree level qualification, or equivalent work experience.
* Demonstrate additional relevant specialist knowledge acquired through training and relevant experience to postgraduate diploma level, or equivalent.
* Ability to travel throughout Tayside is required for the post.
* Practical and results-focused, flexible and adaptable to changing demands/workload, and willing to learn to actively seek and digest information.
Employment details
* Hours of work: 37 hours per week
* Fixed Term/Secondment for 12 months
* Current NHS Tayside Employees: Written approval must be sought from your line manager prior to applying for this secondment. You will be required to bring this if shortlisted for interview.
