Broker Account Manager
The Broker Account Manager works closely with the Head of Sales & Distribution and the underwriting team to execute and drive the organization’s overall growth strategy. The role involves managing a panel of partner brokers to exceed strategic income and performance targets, while strengthening relationships and ensuring compliance.
Key Objectives
* Achieve agreed income and growth targets.
* Develop and manage a high-performing panel of partner brokers.
* Implement joint business plans and provide training, marketing, and relationship support.
* Ensure brokers meet growth and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the sales and underwriting teams in developing and executing growth strategies.
* Lead and develop relationships with strategic broker partners.
* Provide performance insights, renewal feedback, and market intelligence.
* Communicate strategy updates and broker performance insights internally.
* Use data to monitor and challenge broker performance.
* Promote new campaigns, initiatives, and strategic rollouts.
* Attend and host industry or broker events.
Skills and Experience
* Proven experience in sales, broking, or business development within commercial insurance.
* Strong understanding of the insurance market, products, and legislation.
* Demonstrated ability to deliver strategic growth and manage multi-tier broker relationships.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of FCA regulation and FOS procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office and report analysis.
