* Developing optimum power electronic solutions to suit the requirements of the wider electrical power system, considering the characteristics and requirements of the energy sources and loads.
This will include consideration of power quality, EMC and protection aspects of the electrical power system and the interaction of the constituent parts.
* Taking full ownership of specific solutions and approaches from their concept stage through to design, testing and final installation to satisfy the associated requirements. This will include a range of disciplines including electrical, thermal and mechanical aspects of the design.
* Presenting the power electronic solutions at appropriate design review gates as the design and development activities progress. Where necessary interfacing with both internal and external customers.
