Location: Carnaby Industrial Estate, York
Rate: CIS rate TBC
Hours: Site open 6:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Starting no later than 7:30 AM preferred.
Role
Manpower are seeking a Joiner to support workshop operations with a focus on basic joinery tasks including hanging doors, fitting skirting boards, architraves, pin boards, and other general woodwork. Knowledge of modular construction would be an advantage, though not essential. Flexibility is important, as the role may also involve assisting with the lining and levelling of modules.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Carry out basic joinery tasks: hanging doors, fitting skirting, architraves, pin boards, etc.
2.
Assist with modular build tasks, such as lining and levelling of modules
3.
Work flexibly across production tasks as required.
4.
Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship.
Knowledge & Experience
5.
Experience in basic joinery tasks (essential).
6.
Knowledge of modular construction (desirable, training available).
7.
Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
8.
Flexibility to assist across multiple tasks in production.
