Coordinator - Cleaning Services - Operations Team

£27,000 | Preston | Full-time

About the Role

We're a busy facilities management company looking for a Coordinator to join our operations team to keep our cleaning teams running smoothly across multiple sites. This is a hands-on role that is office based where you'll visit our sites in and around Lancashire, manage rotas, make sure everything runs like clockwork and support the Operations Manager.

What you'll be doing:

* Create weekly rotas for cleaning teams across different sites
* Finding cover for sickness, annual leave
* Order cleaning supplies and manage stock
* Visit sites to check quality and standards
* Train new staff and help set up new contracts
* Support time keeping and payroll

Shifts:

Week 1:

* Monday 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Tuesday 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Wednesday 7:00am - 3:30pm
* Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pm
* Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Week 2:

* Monday 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Tuesday 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Wednesday 11:00am - 7:30pm
* Thursday 11:00am - 7:30pm
* Friday 11:00am - 7:30pm

What we're looking for:

* Organisational skills - managing multiple schedules and tasks efficiently
* Great communication - strong interpersonal skills for dealing with clients and staff
* Problem-solving - quick thinking to address operational challenges
* Attention to detail - ensuring high standards of cleanliness and service
* Motivating approach - encouraging and supporting team members
* IT proficiency - familiar with scheduling software and Microsoft Office
* Full driving licence - you'll be traveling to sites
* Flexible approach - things change quickly in this job
