Head of Foodservice Growth – Premium Branded Food


Home-based

£65,000 – £70,000 + car allowance/company car + 1% commission on sales, paid quarterly up to £10,000 per quarter + benefits

It is about taking ownership of the UK foodservice channel, opening new doors, building meaningful customer partnerships, and playing a key part in shaping the next phase of growth for a highly ambitious family business.

The Business


You’ll be joining a successful, family-owned food manufacturer with a turnover of c.£50m and a strong presence across the UK market.


The company has grown by doing things properly: investing in quality, building a trusted branded proposition, and creating products that stand out in a category that can often be highly commoditised.


This is a business with the pace and agility of an entrepreneurial company, but with the credibility, heritage and product quality to compete seriously in the market.

Why This Role Stands Out


This is not a heavily layered corporate account management role.


You will have the freedom to make decisions, the backing of a committed leadership team, and the opportunity to directly influence how the business grows in UK foodservice.


The market opportunity is significant. Demand continues to grow for products that deliver convenience without compromising on quality, taste or ingredient standards. This business is extremely well placed to capitalise on that trend, and the successful candidate will be central to making that happen.


There is also a highly attractive commission structure: 1% of sales, paid quarterly, with the ability to earn up to £10,000 per quarter.


The Role


This is a commercially focused foodservice sales role, responsible for driving growth across the English market.


You will:


* Develop existing relationships with national and regional wholesalers
* Build new trading partnerships with major foodservice accounts
* Target key wholesale and end-user opportunities across the UK
* Grow distribution, visibility and brand presence across foodservice
* Identify and win new business across restaurant groups, QSR, contract catering, education and healthcare
* Work closely with the leadership team to shape the UK foodservice strategy
* Act as the key commercial lead for the channel, with genuine ownership and accountability

This role offers a strong platform: existing relationships, a credible product range, and a business that is ready to invest behind growth.


The Person


We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded foodservice sales professional who enjoys building something.


You will ideally have:

* Experience as a National Account Manager, Senior National Account Manager or similar within foodservice
* Strong knowledge of UK foodservice wholesale
* Experience working with customers such as Bidfood, Brakes, Booker or similar
* A track record of winning new business and developing accounts
* Experience selling branded food products would be beneficial
* Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to work autonomously
* A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset
* Experience in chilled, frozen, poultry, added-value or convenience food categories would be advantageous


Most importantly, you will be someone who wants more than just an account management role. This opportunity suits someone who wants ownership, visibility and the chance to help build a channel.


Package & Location


This is a home-based role covering the English foodservice market, with regular customer visits and monthly travel to head office.


Package includes:

* £65,000 – £70,000 basic salary
* Car allowance
* 1% commission on sales, paid quarterly, up to £10,000 per quarter
