New Role In - Technical Tendering Engineer (Process & Pipeline) We are looking for a results-driven and technically competent Technical Tendering Engineer for our client in Aberdeen. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the technical aspects of the tendering process to ensure our proposals meet client expectations and demonstrate our technical capabilities. You will be responsible for preparing detailed technical proposals for both Process & Pipeline departments, cost estimates, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements. Responsibilities Proposal Development : Prepare and review technical documentation including method statements, equipment lists, and technical clarifications. Engage with engineering teams for input and provide approvals where appropriate. Planning Coordination : Work with the planning team to assess resource capacity and forecast project timelines, highlighting any shortages or constraints. Standards & Compliance : Ensure all documentation meets regulatory, industry, and client-specific standards through thorough checks and continuous learning. Commercial Involvement : Support tendering teams with technical input into commercials, including P&L reviews and identification of OPEX savings. Participate in internal reviews and contribute where applicable. Client Engagement : Support client meetings, respond to technical queries, and build strong relationships to facilitate accurate understanding of technical needs. Contract Handover : Post-award, review contract details, join kick-off meetings, and ensure seamless technical handover to project teams. Continuous Improvement : Identify improvements in tendering workflows, proposal quality, cost estimation, and supplier engagement. Help implement best practices and efficient methodologies across the tendering team. Operational Support : During non-tender periods, assist with operational engineering duties such as reviewing procedures, completing MRs, and supporting supply chain or project execution activities as directed.
