Erskine Stewart’s Melville Schools are recruiting for a Sports Attendant (NPLQ Qualified) to join the ESMS Sports Centre on a casual or temporary basis until August 2025. Immediate start available (subject to checks). Pay rate: £12.45/hour. Working hours: Monday to Sunday, 8.30am to 10.30pm, at the Queensferry Road site.
Sports Attendants are key to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Responsibilities include lifeguarding, ensuring safety rules, maintaining cleanliness and equipment, supporting daily operations, setting up sports equipment, assisting at reception, managing bookings, delivering customer service, conducting fitness inductions, and supporting health and safety standards. Promotional activities and other tasks may also be involved.
The ideal candidate will hold an NPLQ, demonstrate strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills, and follow health and safety guidance. A positive attitude, integrity, understanding of games-based coaching, customer service experience, First Aid certification, and an interest in sport and fitness are desirable.
