Join Our Team: Behaviour Support Assistants Needed!\n\nAre you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs? Do you have experience in managing challenging behaviour and supporting students to achieve their full potential? If so, we want to hear from you!\n\nWe are currently seeking dedicated Behaviour Support Assistants to work in both SEN and mainstream schools in Southampton and across Hampshire.

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing 1:1 and small group support to students with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, Behavioural and Social, Emotional and Mental Health. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nBuild positive and supportive relationships with students.\nImplement behaviour management strategies to help students improve their behaviour and self-regulation.\nAssist teachers and staff in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.\nProvide one-on-one and group support to students, both inside and outside the classroom.\nWork collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other professionals to create and implement individual behaviour plans.\nDocument and track student progress.\nAttend training sessions and professional development to enhance your skills.\nEnsure the safety and well-being of all students at all times.Requirements:\n\nPrevious experience working with young people with SEN and managing challenging behaviour is highly desirable\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents\nPatience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting the social, emotional, and academic development of students with SEN\nEnhanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service or willing to applyBenefits:\n\nCompetitive pay rates.\nOpportunities for professional development and training in behaviour management strategies and SEN support\nDay to day, short-term, long-term and temp to perm opportunities available\nThe chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students and contribute to their success and well-being\nTeam Teach TrainingIf you are dedicated, compassionate, and ready to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
