Senior Technical Delivery Lead / Implementation Lead – AI, DeepTech (Retail) - Edge Computing Location: Central London/Hybrid (min 2 x days a week in office) Reports To: Chief Product Officer Salary: Up to £110,000 Equity Mandatory requirement for hands-on experience in software development or DevOps. We’re seeking a Senior Delivery / Implementation Lead to drive seamless execution of high-impact product rollouts across enterprise retail clients (think Waitrose, Sainsburys, Aldi to name but a few). This isn’t your typical project management role — it’s a strategic, hands-on leadership position requiring someone who thrives in dynamic start-up environments, excels at coordinating cross-functional teams, and delivers results under tight deadlines. You’ll own the entire delivery lifecycle, from pre-sale scoping through rollout and post-sale support, ensuring smooth integration of AI-powered solutions on clients’ on-premise infrastructure. What You’ll Do Lead end-to-end delivery of technical projects - including new product capabilities, client-specific requirements, and internal initiatives Coordinate timelines, resources, and priorities across engineering, product, QA, and commercial teams Act as the key point of contact for client stakeholders, managing expectations, milestones, and feedback Implement structured planning and drive accountability to improve delivery efficiency and quality Lead responses to infosec questionnaires and champion automation using generative AI tools Embed AI-native workflows to streamline processes and reduce operational overhead About You 5-8 years of experience in technical delivery, software project coordination, or engineering program management roles Mandatory background in software development or DevOps (at least 2-3 years earlier in your career) - you understand the development lifecycle, tools, and mindset deeply Minimum 5 years in B2B enterprise environments, including 2–3 years working on on-premise hardware/software integrations Proven track record managing complex enterprise software deployments —RetailTech experience a strong plus MUST have worked in a start-up previously and understands the nuances of a scrappy, fast-paced, agile environment Exceptional communicator and collaborator, skilled in aligning multiple teams and stakeholders - especially Developers, Sales Engineers, Sales, Customer Success and AI Teams Experienced with project management tools like Notion, Jira, Linear, or Asana Hands-on user of generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Notion AI, Zapier) to automate workflows and optimize processes Comfortable navigating ambiguity and independently driving projects forward, under pressure! You understand the demands of the start-up tech world and are comfortable going beyond the standard 9-to-5 to get the job done.
