About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pupils to provide tailored support, encourage positive engagement, and foster a nurturing learning environment. Your role will involve assisting students with their activities, promoting social and emotional development, and helping to create an inclusive classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support individual and group pupil learning activities
Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
Help implement tailored learning plans
Provide emotional and social support to students
Collaborate with teachers and other staff to meet students' needs
Encourage independence and confidence in learners
Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with children, particularly with special educational needs (SEN) is desirable
Compassionate, patient, and adaptable
Excellent communication skills
Reliable and enthusiastic
Able to work effectively as part of a team
