Key Responsibilities
* Conduct daily pre-opening inspections, testing, and safety checks across a range of electrical systems, ensuring all assets are operational, compliant, and ready for use.
* Carry out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment, control systems, and associated infrastructure.
* Diagnose faults efficiently using a methodical approach, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimise downtime.
* Respond promptly to breakdowns across the site, working under pressure while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.
* Work collaboratively with mechanical technicians and operational teams to ensure all systems are maintained and repaired to the highest standard.
* Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to support troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
* Accurately complete maintenance records, reports, and documentation in line with compliance and regulatory requirements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance reliability, efficiency, and safety across systems and processes.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in electrical maintenance within a fast-paced or industrial environment (both planned and reactive).
* Strong fault-finding skills with the ability to work quickly and effectively under pressure.
* A proactive, hands‑on approach with high attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety.
* Good organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively.
* Level 3 qualification (or above) in an electrical discipline.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Experience with control systems, PLCs, or automation would be advantageous, though not essential.
