About the role
We’re seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate with previous agricultural or rural property experience. You’ll be joining our Tier 1 ranked team, working closely with Partners, Neil Barbour and Duncan Sigournay in our Bathoffice.
This presents a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Associate with aspirations of becoming a Partner. You’ll be building on strong foundations whilst contributing to our ambitious growth plans for Bath, including the reach of clients we serve.

You’ll have autonomy to run your own varied caseload:
1. Managing sale and purchase transactions including strategic development of land and secured lending
2. Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, always striving to provide the best possible service
Whilst this role is based in Bath there will be the opportunity for you to work with other fee earners based at our other offices.
About you
We’re extremely proud of the relationship we’ve built with our clients and referrers, being recognised as their trusted legal partner. It’s important to us that you have the right blend of skills to service their needs and develop new relationships:
3. A qualified solicitor, ideally with 4+ years’ PQE
4. Relevant experience managing cases for agricultural and rural property, which is likely to include working with farmers, landowners and Agri-business owners
5. Excellent client relationship management skills, where you put clients at the heart of everything you do
6. Commercial awareness, which allows you to understand and support clients through changes in legislation, life events, government announcements, as well as being able to network and develop new business in this area
7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
