Following their strong, and continued growth across the Aviation sector, they are now looking to add additional support to their expanding aircraft washing team at based Gatwick Airport.\n\nJob Description:\n\nWe are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our clients’ team of Exterior Aircraft Washers (EAW).
As an EAW, you are responsible for cleaning the outside of an aircraft using a variety of techniques as listed below. This is a physically demanding position where you will be working at heights to manually clean the aircraft with the help of various types of cleaning equipment. The aim is to get the aircrafts looking like the first day they came out of the paint shop and ready for commercial use.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nOperating height access equipment (AWP)\nMixing, handling a variety of cleaning chemicals\nUsing both dry and wet wash techniques to clean the outside of an aircraft\nOperating high pressure water equipment\nTechnical washing of mechanical components\nRequirements:\n\nFull UK manual driving licence \nExperience in cleaning and/or similar roles\nSafety and performance driven\nKnowledge of airport operations will be an advantage\nAble to commit to the shift pattern & times\nAble to provide 5 years worth of checkable history\nAble to provide a basic DBS certificate\nWhat We Offer:\n\nCompetitive salary\nWeekly pay (Every Friday)\nOn going opportunities for professional development and career advancement\nA collaborative, inclusive and friendly work environment\nHow to Apply:\n\nIf you feel that you could thrive in a fast paced environment as a Exterior Aircraft Washer and would like to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!
