Miramar Vets are seeking a reliable and professional Receptionist to join our super team. You will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational skills, be proficient in office tasks, and possess strong communication skills.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all visitors are greeted professionally and courteously.
* Prioritise answering phone calls to address client enquiries promptly and professionally.
* Provide excellent customer service in a professional, sympathetic, and courteous manner.
* Record and follow up on enquiries efficiently.
* Add new client details into the system and update vaccine/contact information during visits or calls.
* Verify invoices for accuracy and make necessary adjustments.
* Secure follow-up appointments to complete treatment plans.
* Call to reschedule missed appointments.
* Promote our ever-popular Pet Health Club and pet insurance.
* Maintain a clean and tidy reception area.
* Adhere to all practice and reception policies for excellent client service.
* Administrative duties include booking appointments, processing payments, handling cash exchanges, and performing end-of-day banking.
* Attend reception meetings as needed, keep client records updated, and manage clinic emails.
* Complete daily paperwork, organize incoming and outgoing mail.
* Complete Pet Health Club applications and perform other duties as required by the practice.

At Miramar Vets we pride ourselves on providing a great veterinary experience for our clients and their beloved pets. We are based in Sheringham on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast and you will be working with 5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 RVNS and 6 support staff.
Your shift pattern
Working Mondays 08:30-18:30, Tuesdays 08:30-16:30 & Fridays 08:30-18:30, there will be an hours unpaid lunch on all 3 days, with participation in some Saturday mornings.
