About the role
We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Sales Order Processor to join our Structural Connections team based in Sheffield, UK.
The purpose of this role is to review and process all sales orders received in an efficient and timely manner. You'll also be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to enable the business to maintain and expand our customer base.
Main responsibilities
* Handle customer calls and emails in a timely manner with the ability to prioritize.
* Respond to questions and queries both internally and from our customers.
* Prepare quotations & process customer orders.
* Complete quotation follow-up calls.
* Negotiate with customers to secure orders.
* Liaise with other departments to ensure that orders are completed to customer deadlines.
What we need from you
* Experience in a busy sales office.
* GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English grades A-C.
* Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude and able to work on your own initiative.
* Methodical, organised, with the ability to prioritise.
* Computer literate (particularly Microsoft Office and Dynamics CRM).
* Accurate with good attention to detail.
* Ability to manage and respond to multiple issues at once whilst meeting deadlines.
