Field Service Manager (Electrical) - EV Charging -Remote (UK) - Competitive Salary/ Car / Car allowance + Future share scheme
We are recruiting for a Field Service Operations Manager (Electrical) to join a growing, specialist EV charging business at an early stage.
This is a senior operational role for someone with strong hands-on electrical experience and solid EV charging maintenance background. You’ll lead day-to-day delivery, manage subcontractors and field teams, and help build the operational processes that allow the business to scale.
The role is predominantly remote and desk-based, but requires travel and occasional hands-on site support when needed.
The role
* Lead EV charging maintenance operations and site assessments
* Plan and coordinate subcontractors and field engineers
* Act as technical escalation for complex faults and recurring issues
* Support install and remedial works where required
* Build scalable processes, standards, reporting and KPIs
* Ensure full compliance with BS7671 (18th Edition) and strong H&S standards
* Work closely with leadership to improve delivery and customer outcomes
What we’re looking for
Experience
* Strong electrical background with significant time on the tools
* EV charging maintenance experience (essential)
* EV charging installation, fault-finding and remedials experience
* Comfortable leading teams and managing subcontractors
* Happy working remotely with site involvement when required
Qualifications
* 18th Edition (BS7671)
* Inspection & Testing – C&G 2391 or equivalent
* SMSTS + site management qualification
* CSCS Gold Card
