As a Senior GIS Technician, you will be part of our growing Geospatial team. You will play a crucial role in supporting a fast-paced property consultancy. Daily, you will produce high-quality maps and plans to support everything from legal conveyancing and land registration to planning constraints mapping for renewable energy projects. Using the latest spatial analysis techniques, you will develop complex site finding analysis to support new development projects, including renewable energy, life sciences, local government planning, and commercial property initiatives.

* Prepare high-quality, accurate maps to support legal conveyancing, land registration, sales, acquisitions, and all aspects of land and property management.
* Perform data manipulation, editing, attribution, and analysis tasks.
* Digitise, geocode, and geo-reference data to support cartographic production.
* Produce land parcel boundaries and area calculations.
* Develop complex site finding analysis models based on client requirements and present results via mapping, web applications, and dashboards using Esri Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.
* Provide geospatial consultancy to clients and the wider business to promote cross-selling of geospatial services.
* Identify opportunities to embed geospatial services across workflows.
* Manage workflows and supervise team activities.
* Handle general team administration, including WIP, job management, SOPs, and BOPs.

What will it take to be successful?
Extensive experience in GIS, particularly in creating, customizing, and maintaining ESRI ArcGIS-based applications and APIs using the Esri Platform, including ArcGIS Online/Enterprise, Web App Builder, Experience Builder, and Ops Dashboards, is essential. Experience with Ordnance Survey Licensed and Open data products is preferred. Proficiency in developing Esri Mobile Worker Applications like Survey 123, Field Maps, and Quick Capture, along with data management in ArcGIS Pro, is required. Knowledge of Spatial SQL and experience with MS SQL are advantageous.
You should possess strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential. Experience with processing and analysing 3D survey data, including point clouds, 3D meshes, ortho images, and DSMs, and utilising these in 3D web scenes, would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
