Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery environment, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards. This role requires effective communication skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
We require someone to start at 12pm until 5pm, 5 days a week.
Duties
* Perform cleaning tasks in designated areas, including offices, Staff rooms, kitchens, and Rooms.
* Cleaning after children's eating times.
* Ensuring the washing and drying is done.
* Ensure all surfaces are dusted, wiped down, and sanitised regularly.
* Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
* Dispose of waste and recycling appropriately in compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Manager promptly.
* Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are in good working order.
* Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a cleaning or customer service role is advantageous but not mandatory.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for roles that require to get to the nursery.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Flexibility in working hours may be required based on things changing.
