Overview

:

First Military Recruitment is currently supporting an established and expanding business in the search for a Technical Trainer.

Our client is keen to offer opportunities to Ex-Military personnel, but all applications will be considered.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Management of apprentice learning programmes and curriculum development.
2. Assessment of knowledge, skills, and behaviours.
3. Review process management to ensure consistency, progress tracking, and achievement.
4. Coordination of on- and off-the-job training, Functional Skills, and commercial programmes.
5. Teaching and learning for learners across years one to four and commercial programmes.
6. Development of activities for the company, including Apprenticeships, up-skilling, and commercial programmes.
7. Employer engagement.
8. Compliance with the Education Inspection Framework (EIF).
9. Adherence to teaching timetables for apprentice training and commercial programmes.
10. Delivery of Schemes of Work in line with SFA, Awarding Bodies, Ofsted, and IFA requirements.
11. Preparation and development of learning materials for training.
12. Tracking learner progress and achievement with the Head of Quality and Curriculum.
13. Managing learner reports in collaboration with the Events Co-ordinator and Head of Quality and Curriculum.
14. Providing academic guidance and support to assigned learners.
15. Assessing learner work and examinations per quality standards.
16. Providing monthly reports to Senior Management.
17. Advising and counseling learners on training, welfare, and discipline matters.
18. Monitoring Health and Safety at the employer location.
19. Liaising with the Events Co-ordinator, Head of Quality and Curriculum, and employers.
20. Promoting Equal Opportunities and ensuring compliance.
21. Adhering to company policies and promoting a safe working environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Customer focus and understanding of customer needs.
* Technical competence at Level 4 or above.
* Achievement of objectives as per appraisal.
* Consistency in training delivery and assessment.
* Effective communication with managers, external bodies, and stakeholders.
* Teamwork and continuous professional development.
* Knowledge of Awarding Body requirements.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
