Introduction
This is a great opportunity to join Transport for Wales (TfW) as the IT and Digital Projects Controller, responsible for managing the delivery of project control information to key stakeholders to support the delivery of project outcomes required by the wider business.
Role Responsibilities
1. Discuss IT and Digital Services project progress with Project Managers (PMs) to compile, define, and deliver a suite of regular management reports.
2. Utilize tools such as Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Power BI to collate relevant information for various audiences on progress, risks, and changes.
3. Support Heads of IT and Digital Services and Senior PMs with analysis and insights, reviewing project progress, risks, and changes to ensure milestones are achieved.
4. Promote best practices across the team by setting direction on project reporting and ensuring documentation aligns with project frameworks and methodologies.
Who we're looking for
We seek someone with experience in a project control, support, or management role within an IT or digital project environment.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Thorough understanding of project controls and methodologies.
* Experience using Microsoft tools to deliver project controls and reports.
* Experience presenting project reports to executive level.
Welsh Skills
Ability to speak/write Welsh is a plus but not essential. We support and promote Welsh language skills and encourage personal development through various programs.
