We are working with a global biotechnology company that is looking to hire entry to junior-level individuals due to continued growth. The role would be an initial 12-month contract with the potential to go permanent upon completion.
Responsibilities:
1. Work with closed product in a clean environment wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
2. Oversee the assembly of packaging components, including boxes, inserts, labels, and other necessary materials. Ensure that products are packaged securely and according to standard operating procedures to prevent damage during transit.
3. Ensure labels are printed correctly and verified using in-process testing.
4. Implement quality control measures to verify that packaging meets established standards and specifications. Conduct regular inspections to identify any defects, errors, or inconsistencies, and take corrective actions as necessary.
5. Calibrate basic laboratory instruments and ensure calibration is performed on time by monitoring and updating the calibration schedule for equipment in a designated area.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft software applications.
2. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, meet targets, and complete necessary paperwork.
3. Experience in a clean production environment preferred, but not essential.
4. Requires the use of office equipment, including operating a computer terminal throughout the day and involvement in continuous improvement opportunities.
5. Qualified with a Bachelor degree in a relevant life sciences discipline or equivalent experience.
