Construction Manager - RC Frame
Location: Birmingham City Centre
Spearheading the JRL Group from the outset J Reddington Ltd have been an industry leading groundwork and concrete (RC) frame specialist for over two decades. Building on a proven track record to date, the company is now increasingly being called upon to deliver solutions on larger projects in London and the South East providing the core to the business.
Due to continued growth, we are recruiting a Construction Manager.
Role & Responsibilities:
The Site Manager is responsible for scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the work of all siteoperatives, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget along withmanaging equipment and materials required.
Manage and plan for 2-4 week look aheads.Schedule, co-ordinate and supervise the daily activities of gangs/site operatives.Carry out and record site inspections.Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements.Conduct and amend risk assessments and deliver toolbox talks/briefings.Share and pass on knowledge to teams.Ensure gangs/site operatives complete all required documentation.Track and document daily work productions.Co-ordinate delivery/pick up of materials as required.Carry out the role of Temporary Works Supervisor, manage the installation and inspection of temporary works schemes and sign off permits.Requirements:
Valid CSCS card & SMSTS, 1st is advantageous.Qualified by experience (trade background) or construction related degree.Excellent communicator.Ability to demonstrate having previously worked on sub & superstructures packages, in particular concrete / RC frame structures & basements.Man management skills.
